Who We Are
Georgia Animal Project is a non-profit organization
dedicated to providing high quality low-cost spay and
neuter services for dogs and cats throughout North
Georgia. We offer these services to individuals,
reputable rescue organizations and animal shelters
using highly-skilled veterinarians, vet techs, clinic
staff and volunteers. Our clinic is located in historic
downtown Ball Ground, GA.
What We Do
Georgia Animal Project targets the root cause of animal overpopulation with a
sound solution - high quality, low-cost spay and neuter clinics. We work with local
veterinarians to sponsor multiple clinics each week. The costs associated with our
clinics are significantly reduced from what a veterinarian typically charges. When
you make an appointment, we tell you what our costs are to perform the surgery.
We then ask that you pay the full amount of these costs. If you are unable to pay
the full costs, our clinic coordinator can help arrange an alternative solution
through pricing discounts and subsidies. Email us with questions at
info@theanimalproject.org or call (770) 704- PAWS (7297) for more information.
Our Mission
Georgia Animal Project's mission is to reduce animal suffering and confront
companion-animal overpopulation by directly subsidizing spay and neuter
costs through low-cost clinics and effective education programs for the public.
